The fee for a birth record for a person born in Okaloosa County, $10.00 first copy, $5.00 each additional certification of the same record when ordered at the same time. Vital Statistics is able to generate births that occur in any of the counties in the State, i.e. Escambia, Walton, Santa Rosa, etc. dating back to 1962. The fee for a birth record for a person born outside Okaloosa County, is $11.00 first copy, $7.00 each additional certification of the same record when ordered at the same time. If you are requesting the cause of death, you must explain your relationship to the person whose record you are requesting. Death's that need to be recorded in a court house should be requested without cause of death. The fee for a death record is $7.00 for one certificate and $7.00 each additional certification ordered at the same time. Fee are non-refundable.
