Family of Jesse L. Edge(born circa 1807)
Resource page for Edge nationwide

Please go to the Sedges Have Edges page to see what little we know of the earlier Edge folk. There are other bits and pieces within as well. I am always happy to share with other researchers, so please write if you need more information.

The Edge Resource Page

This is a combined effort of many helpful folks. This site is being split between my ancestors and compiled information that may help other researchers. We hope you find something here to help with your own research. If you would care to submit items that may help another researcher, please contact me.

I opted to post only documented information to keep down errors that seem to be proliferating on the Internet. I also became aware that people were copying my unproven information, offered as a possible road map for others to follow. They offered no caveat that much of it was family lore with no backup sources. Noting my website as their source made the information appear to be legitimate. Just because something is in print, or on the Internet, does not make it so.

We are constantly updating the information here. Enjoy! And remember to always check sources and verify everything you find.

The only inheritance many receive from their ancestors is impure blood.  Fortunately, it is in everyone's power to transmit a cleaner heritage to  their posterity by the simple use of Ayer's Sarsaparilla, the only
blood-purifier admitted at the Chicago World's Fair.
