State of Georgia, Lumpkin County
I, William Edge, of said state and county being of advanced age and
knowing that I must shortly depart this life -- I give my beloved wife,
Annie with whim I lived for years, one hundred and twenty-five acres
where I now live in the eight hundred and thirty eighth District of
Lumpkin County.
I, also give all my property, stock, tools and household furniture to
my beloved wife. After her death all property is to be sold and divided
between all my lawful heirs.
I appoint my beloved wife, Annie, executrix and my son John Edge,
executor, this 5th day of Sept. 1860.

J. Blackwell, A. Christopher, L.G. Christopher, signed as witnesses to
the will of William Edge as it being his last true will and testament.
Also, his wife, Annie signed an affidavit stating that William Edge's
will was a true will and testament, Oct. 10, 1867.
