Harvey Misc.
I have put up some photos under the Creede story.
The following is excerpted from a fax from the IN Historical Society

(317)232-1879
Fax 233-3109Three copies of the Harvey Genealogy compiled by Edna Harvey Joseph. One copy is at the Fort Wayne-Allen County Public Library, and the other copy in Indiana is at the Earlham College Library , Earlham College, Richmond,Indiana. The third copy is at the Houston Public Library in Houston, Texas. All of these libraries Participate in the Inter-Library Loan system so you may be able to borrow the book through an ILL initiated at your local library. (I would not count on it tho! MEW)
While I was about it this morning, I did check the card catalogue in the Genealogy Section of the Indiana State Library again and found several entries for the Harvey family in Indiana. I was unable to copy all of the entries due to a time restriction but some of the more outstanding entries included The Harvey Book compiled by Oscar Jewell Harvey and includes branches of Harvey, Nesbitt, Dixon, and Jameson families in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, and so on. There was also the Beeson-Harvey family Bible records (11 pages) and the Harvey Family, no author given. These materials are available to researchers who visit the ISL Genealogy Section and cannot be used via an ILL.
By the way, the Oscar Jewell Harvey publication is on microfiche so you might want to check with one of the Family History Center Libraries (Mormon library) in your area to see if they might have the microfiche in their collections. They frequently do have such items but they seldom participate in an ILL nor do they enter their collections on-line through one of the on-line catalog systems. They might even have a microfiche of the Edna Harvey Joseph publication since they regularly film such materials through different projects they conduct all over the United States and North America. It certainly would be worth a try.
Sincerely,
